The Neuropsychology Neuroimaging Lab, directed by Sterling Johnson PhD, at the University of Wisconsin, uses cutting edge neuroimaging techniques to examine brain function in aging and clinical disorders such as Alzheimer Disease (AD). Imaging methods are combined with comprehensive clinical evaluations, including neuropsychological assessment, and select genetic and laboratory tests to determine how large scale brain changes relate to cognitive decline in aging, neurodegenerative disease, or recovery after injury. Our research group is particularly focused on early brain changes that occur in AD, prior to onset of clinical symptoms. more info >>
